No. Lipi reads your usage figures and, only when you explicitly export or hand off a conversation, its content — all of it stays in your browser or goes exactly where you send it. Nothing is transmitted to Lipi's or Engramium's own servers.
Directly from claude.ai's own usage endpoint, read within your authenticated browser session. It's an internal, undocumented endpoint, so Lipi handles the rare case where Anthropic changes it with a clear error state instead of a wrong number.
It's a live estimate, not an official figure — Claude doesn't expose one. Lipi learns the real cost of your messages over time and predicts from that, refining as you use it.
If you save an account in Switch, Lipi stores that account's claude.ai cookies — including its session — locally in your browser, so it can restore them when you switch back. They never leave your device, but they are stored unencrypted, the same as any saved browser session.
